Casa Luma sits on the last terrace before the Tramuntana mountains give way to the sea — close enough to walk to both. The walls are original, hand-plastered and repaired rather than replaced. Nothing here was bought to impress. It was chosen to last, and to feel better with wear.

Grilled catch, a carafe of local white, candles instead of lamps.

The sea disappears before the mountains do. Stay until it does.

A kitchen that shops the same morning
Breakfast and dinner both start at the market, not the walk-in. Expect whatever the fishermen and the neighbouring finca brought in that day — grilled gambas, tumbet, a tomato salad that needs nothing else.
Two kinds of water
A quiet stone-edged pool in the courtyard for the early hours, and a fifteen-minute walk down to a cove with water so clear you can count the fish from the rocks above.
The Tramuntana at your back door
Dry-stone terraces and olive groves start where the garden ends. A two-hour loop climbs to a ridge with the whole coastline laid out below it — we pack the bag.
Ten minutes on foot, a different century
Stone houses, green shutters, a Saturday market that hasn’t changed its rhythm in decades. Close enough to walk down for coffee and back before it gets hot.

Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) is the closest, roughly 45 minutes by car along the coastal road. We can arrange a transfer if you let us know your flight.
By car
Free parking on the property for all six rooms. The last kilometre is a single-lane track — slow going, worth it.
On foot
The village is a ten-minute walk. The cove is fifteen. The Tramuntana trailhead starts at the garden gate.
Before you book.
Check-in from 3pm, check-out by 11am. If your room isn’t ready yet, we’ll hold your bags and start you at the courtyard.

Yes, on request when you book. The drive from Palma is about 45 minutes.
Casa Luma is built for quiet. We welcome children over the age of ten.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome in three of the six rooms — let us know when you book.
